Story
In the summer of 2026, I’ll embark on an extraordinary challenge: cycling The Route, where a team of female amateur cyclists will conquer every stage of the 2026 Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift (TdFFAZ), just one day ahead of the professionals.
This epic journey isn’t just about pushing physical limits—it’s about making a difference. Every pound raised will go directly to Cure Leukaemia, the official UK charity partner of the TdFFAZ. These funds will support the revolutionary ATICUS Network, breaking barriers in clinical trial access for children battling blood cancer and bringing hope to families across the UK.
Living in the San Francisco Bay Area has given me the chance to explore countless beautiful places right in my backyard. As my love for cycling has grown, I have been inspired by the fitness, grit, and tenacity of the riders. The chance to follow their route — to experience the immensity of the challenge firsthand — while raising funds for CureLeukaemia is an honor.
This cause is deeply personal: I have lost my two grandfathers to cancer and seeing the pain and determination from countless other friends and family affected by this disease drives me. I hope to make them proud in a small way through the effort into this challenge. I strongly support the research and support services CureLeukaemia funds.
With every pedal stroke, we move slightly closer to turning struggle into strength and hope into healing. Your generosity helps keep the wheels turning toward a tomorrow where no family has to face blood cancer alone. Thank you for riding this journey with me.
