Story
I never imagined I would find myself sharing a story like this. My beautiful mum has been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND), a cruel and heartbreaking illness that slowly steals the simple joys many of us take for granted. Watching someone you love face such a relentless challenge is truly devastating. The woman who has always been my rock, who devoted her life to caring for others, now faces battles no one should endure. Yet, through every hardship, she shows incredible courage, strength, and dignity.
To support her and raise awareness for this merciless disease, we are fundraising for the Rob Burrow Centre for MND Appeal. We have committed to taking part in a Skyline Skydive on 12th September 2026 — an event that symbolizes hope and bravery in the face of adversity.
Our goal is to raise £500 to help fund vital research and support services that can make a real difference in the lives of those affected by MND. Every donation, no matter how small, brings us closer to that target and fuels our determination.
If you’re unable to donate at this time, please consider sharing our story with your network — your voice could connect us with someone who can help.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, support, and generosity. Hug your loved ones a little tighter today; life can change in an instant. Right now, we’re focused on making every precious moment with Mum count.
Together, we can bring hope where it’s needed most.
