I am a middle aged, middle ranking (box league 15/27) recent member of OC. Reader, I have had the time of my life! I never knew such legal fun could be had in the day time. I have adored this magical red clay world you have all created, one hit at a time. To help build our new home I am going for glory. Forget middle ranking. I am going for gold. A world record. All of you who have hit a ball you should rally, way way out, will be able to empathise! I am going to attempt to best the fastest time (1.34.58) for a half marathon (13.1 miles) dressed as a tennis player this Sat at Battersea Park at 10.30. This involves running with a racquet and ball in my hands in full tennis regalia and running with a bag of four racquets looking stylish and ready to serve and volley. Tennis fam, run with me, cheer me, or stay on your sofas and pay me off. For a very good value £6.49 (the cost of some nice fresh balls) I will adore you for ever.
