We fund medical research to help find a cure for Lupus

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit this JustGiving page.

We lost our friend Binal Patel in March this year unexpectedly. We know she had suffered from Lupus for many years and most of us were really unaware of what this illness was. For some of us, it was only when we looked ourselves into what this disease was did we understand how serious it can be and the impact it can unfortunately have.

Her friends and family are in shock, trying to understand how this could have happened to such a beautiful caring person. She sadly passed away after suffering an heart attack.

As a group of friends and family we know that Lupus was a big impact to her life, she suffered from its symptoms for many years. We feel that fundraising for a Lupus UK will make a difference, be it someone life or raising awareness.

Please donate what you can, anything is much appreciated.

May 10th is a dedicated World Lupus Day and in support of this fundraising I will be dedicating my run in the Leeds Half Marathon to represent LUPUS UK in memory of Binal Patel to help raise awareness.
