On 26th April 2026, I will be running the London Marathon in memory of my Dad, who we sadly lost in January 2025.
During the final weeks of his life, Rennie Grove Peace Hospice provided exceptional care and support, not just for my Dad but for the whole family. Thanks to them, Dad was able to stay at home, surrounded by family. We will be forever grateful for this time together.
The team at Rennie Grove Peace Hospice helped us through an unimaginably difficult time with kindness, care and understanding. We cannot thank them enough for level of support that they provided.
And so, I am running the London Marathon 2026 - to honour my Dad and raise funds for Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care, so that they can continue providing care to other families facing similar challenges.
Rennie Grove Peace Hospice offers specialist care for adults and children with progressive life-limiting illnesses, and support for their families, across Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire. Every donation, no matter the size will help to fund this incredible charity.
I am excited to take on the challenge of a Marathon, and I know that Dad will be cheering me on every step of the way.
