Isha Vidhya is committed to raising the level of education and literacy in rural India and to helping disadvantaged children realise their full potential.

Story

At Isha Vidhya, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to learn and grow, regardless of their background. Our mission is to elevate education and literacy in rural India, empowering disadvantaged children to realize their full potential. We proudly operate 10 rural schools, nurturing the minds of 8,500 children from lower kindergarten to 12th Grade.

A staggering 60% of our students are first-generation school-goers, and they rely on our scholarships to pursue their dreams. However, we cannot do this alone; we depend entirely on the generosity of individual donors who share our vision for a brighter future. This campaign is a heartfelt call for your support for these deserving children.

Join us in making a difference by contributing to one of our donation categories:

(1) Full Education Support for a child per year includes scholarship, noon-meal, transport, and uniform. Your contribution of £360 (or £30 per month) will ensure that a child receives everything they need for a successful year.

(2) Scholarship Support for a child per year covers tuition fees, notebooks, and books. A donation of £210 (or £20 per month) will provide essential resources for learning.

We are excited to announce that we will be participating in the UWCB Southampton event on 19th July 2025! Our target is to raise £300 to continue supporting these incredible children on their educational journey. Together, let’s inspire hope and change lives through education.
