We’re taking on the Akkar 9-Mile Challenge to raise money for the British Heart Foundation!
This year’s Akkar charity challenge is one we’ve designed ourselves: a 9-mile countryside walk from our Hove HQ to Lewes in support of the British Heart Foundation.
On Friday 26 September, we’ll set off together at 1pm, taking a steady route through the Downs before finishing at The Juggs pub in Lewes to celebrate the team's efforts.
The British Heart Foundation funds life-saving research into heart and circulatory diseases, helping to prevent, treat, and support those affected. It’s a cause that matters to many of us, and one where every contribution makes a difference. Just £24 can fund two hours of research by an early career scientist.
We’ve set our fundraising goal at £1,500, which could help buy specialist equipment, fund a community defibrillator, or support cardiac rehab programmes.
Please donate if you're able to, every little helps!
