For the past few years, AKORN along with our friends at The Rooms of Knutsford have completed a number of intense challenges and raised lots of money in aid of Pendleside Hospice. What started with the Pendleside golf marathon in 2023 which consisted of over 42km (not including the golf), followed by a 12 hour, 130km Pendleside Duathlon consisting of alternating 5km run and 5.8km cycle in 2024...

This year we are going BIG again!

We now plan to carry out a 50km Pendleside ultra marathon around the base of Pendle Hill, on the 26th September.

The Corporate Challenge raises a huge amount of vital funds for Pendleside Hospice every year and we are immensely grateful to all the local businesses who support it.

It will cost £6m+ this year to keep the hospice open. They receive approx 20% from statutory funding which means we need to raise over £4.5m through local support and donations.

The Corporate Challenge plays a major part in our fundraising mission and we are very grateful for your support in 2025.
