On the 5th April 2025, just 5 days after I had taken early retirement, my beautiful wife Sam died suddenly. The sense of loss is huge and my family and I are totally devastated.

Myton Hospices has long been our favourite charity following Sam's Mum passing away there in 2011 - they really are Angels walking the Earth. Because of this I'm taking part in this year's Myton Cycle Challenge to help raise vital funds for them and in the memory of Sam to maintain her positive legacy - i know that she would've wanted me to do this.

Every month Myton Hospices need to raise £916,667 to provide their services free of charge to their patients and their families!

I'm asking you to show support by making a sponsoring my challenge to ensure they can continue to provide their services free of charge for the people of Coventry and Warwickshire, now and in the future.

Providing dedicated care and support for people with life-limiting illnesses, and their families, in their inpatient beds and in the community continues to be their primary focus, and they need to raise £11 million this year to do this.

They can't do it without the support of people like me and you and I hope you are able to make a donation to this incredible charity!
