Give an education that lasts a lifetime: support transformative bursaries at City of London School. With a transformational bursary, all of a pupil's school fees are covered, along with extras such as travel costs, uniforms and trips.

Story

Dear City of London School Community,

On (Friday) 13 June 2025 (an auspicious date indeed), I’ll be stepping out of a plane at 12,000 feet - all in the name of two incredible causes: the City of London School Bursary Fund and The Felix Project.

I passionately believe that a great education should be open to all, and our Bursary Fund helps talented pupils, regardless of their background, access life-changing opportunities at our school. At the same time, this year's pupil-chosen charity, The Felix Project, is tackling food waste and food poverty across London, making sure good food reaches those who need it most.

I couldn't ask for better motivation as I take the leap out of a plane across the Kent countryside.

I’ll be joined (or rather, racing to the ground!) by Mrs Brown, Headmistress at City of London School for Girls, who will also be raising money for her school's bursary fund.

So, CLS, I need your support!

My goal is to raise £20,000, and with the generosity of our wonderful school community, I know we can get there. Whether you donate, spread the word, or simply offer moral support as I prepare for this sky-high challenge, I’d be incredibly grateful.

Thank you for getting behind me—I promise to make CLS proud (and hopefully land before Mrs Brown)!

Mr Bird
