Budgie was diagnosed with MND on 20th November 2024, although symptoms could easily be tracked back over a year.

In March 2025 Mike Kerr and Budgie hatched a plan to have about 8 mates run the proposed half marathon route, 3 weeks later 63 people turned up, Dougie Vipond started the event with a drum roll and just over £5800 was raised for MND Scotland.

So let's all make this event even more successful and raise vital funds that go directly to MND Scotland, to support those living with MND and their families.
