Rotary Club of Oxford North Walking for Restore

Alan Godfrey is raising money for Rotary Club of Oxford North Trust Fund

Walking to support the charity RESTORE https://restore.org.uk/ · 4 October 2025

The Object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of serving society as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular to encourage and foster goodwill, peace, fellowship and high ethical standards, locally, nationally and internationally, recognising and dignifying our occupations as opportunities to serve in business and community life.

Story

This year Oxford North Rotary Club is supporting the charity Restore.

There will be two walks on 4th October 2025:

2.5 miles and

4 miles, both starting from The Red Lion

Restore has been supporting individuals across Oxfordshire since 1977. People are supported towards their own mental health recovery goals, such as rebuilding confidence and skills, often moving-on to employment, volunteering or training. Members can attend recovery groups weekly for up to two years and receive one-to-one coaching. Restore is also home to Oxfordshire Recovery College for courses that support recovery, and Restore provides workplace mental health training.
