Since 1970, the Talbot Association has stood alongside Glasgow’s most vulnerable individuals those facing the complex realities of homelessness, addiction, mental ill-health, social isolation, and long-term instability. As part of Scotland’s evolving landscape of social care, we are committed to delivering person-centred, trauma-informed, and rights-based support that respects the dignity, voice, and choices of everyone we walk with.
We aim to create safe, respectful spaces where people feel seen, heard, and valued. Our support is grounded in compassion, flexibility, and non-judgement, helping individuals reclaim stability, self-worth, and a sense of belonging within a community of their choice.

This vision of only kinship calls us to draw closer to the margins to stand with those who have been left out, forgotten, or written off. In doing so, we dismantle the barriers that divide us and build a community rooted in shared humanity.
For over five decades, Talbot has grown, evolved, and deepened its mission but our core values have remained unchanged. We believe in the inherent worth of every person, and we strive daily to offer not just services, but solidarity. A place where compassion leads, and no one is left behind.
