A short while ago a colleague of mine approached me to see if I would be interested in a charity abseil that she is involved with. I’ll be honest, it’s never been near the top of my to do list in life! But as soon as she spoke about the Violet Project charity and the reason it even exists I knew instantly I wanted to be apart of it. We hear about suicide more and more as time goes on and the work that charities like Violet Project do daily with so many different people make a massive impact on so many lives, so if I can do just 1 small thing like this to raise money for such an important cause then a charity abseil has suddenly jump to the top of my to do list!!

On a personal level I will be dedicating my actions to the memory of one of the kindest, sweetest, caring, crazy and beautiful individuals who I was lucky enough to not just call a friend but to love like she was family. Our ‘Hellsbells’ Helen Mackinnon who sadly took her own life in 2017. You will never be forgotten 🩵
