I'm taking part in the Dandelion 250 Challenge for SarcoidosisUK!

Fundraiser
My name is Alan Malin, I am 80 and my main disability is that I have a prosthetic leg, however, I also have a hidden disability that many people do not know of. My hidden disability is an illness called sarcoidosis.
Sarcoidosis is an illness that affects the immune system and causes it to attack your own body. I have sarcoidosis in my lungs, skin, joints, and heart. My vision is to raise awareness for sarcoidosis, find a cure and improve the treatment.
For the sarcoidosis awareness month, the challenge is to do something 250 times in order to raise awareness and raise money for a cure and better treatment for sarcoidosis.
My granddaughter Lucy is 15, and she and some of her friends have been so kind to volunteer to help me with the challenge. Lucy loves horse riding, so her idea is to jump 250 times whilst on the horse. Lucy, Charlotte, and two more of her friends have agreed to share the challenge and achieve the 250 hurdles in the next two months!
Please forward this to any of your friends who would be interested to raise awareness!
Thank you!
