I have been a volunteer with Goals Beyond Grass ( GBG ) Bikes for five years. GBG provide some of the most inclusive sporting activities I have seen.

GBG is a Gloucestershire‑based charity founded in 2016 that works with disabled children and adults to reduce social isolation and improve wellbeing through inclusive sport and physical activity. Their philosophy is simple but powerful: sport should be for everyone, with no barriers and no one turned away.

As a small, local charity, every pound raised makes a tangible difference. Donations help GBG deliver daily sessions, purchase accessible equipment, train staff and volunteers, and reach more people who are often excluded from traditional sport and social activity. Crucially, GBG’s work supports both physical and mental wellbeing, helping participants build confidence, independence, and community.
