Maggie's are a wonderful charity which offer support to those directly affected by cancer. When people are at their most vulnerable and are receiving life changing information, Maggie's are there to offer free and immediate and comprehensive support.

Last year I was watching a television programme which discussed some of the facts and figures about cancer in the UK. During this programme, it stated that approximately 1000 people are diagnosed with cancer every day in England. Numbers like this are discussed and seem to be simply accepted, but the sheer scale of 1000 individual's is hard to put into context.

My attempt to put this in to some sort of context is to run 1000 miles. This will be in the format of 10 miles a day, everyday for 100 days. If you can support me in anyway, I and Maggie's would appreciate your help.
