It’s now a year since my life extending heart bypass procedure and it’s been a long haul back to health and general fitness, assisted by the later insertion of a pacemaker.
On the 8th December, Caer and I fly out to Nairobi, Kenya, where will be supporting the work of a charity we have been connected to for a number of years.

The Red Rubber Ball Foundation provides scholarships so that disadvantaged young Kenyans can complete four years at secondary school.
The trip is at our own expense and it includes assisting in the delivery of a ‘Three Day Workshop’ involving all 105 RRBF sponsored students. The aim of the workshop is to inspire them to take action, to do whatever they can to help themselves live the life they want.
