Thank you for visiting my page. By visiting here, you probably already know why I am fundraising for SSNAP. In case you do not, SSNAP is the charity supporting the neonatal unit at the JR who did so much to help me and Nat when Daisy arrived 3 months early weighing less than a box of cereal. It is a cause so close to my heart as we now have a much bigger Daisy who gives us very different challenges these days!

SSNAP supports the families of the 1,000 or more babies who have neonatal care at the John Radcliffe in Oxford, and go through the journey that no parent wants or even imagines is possible.

If you know me, you know I am not a runner - in fact I spent 2023 unable to walk properly after a major injury. I once ran a 10k when I was 23, so double the distance, double the age (plus a bit!). However, I am doing this because it was the challenge laid down to me by my amazing colleagues at CRM as the price to get SSNAP as the charity of the year for this, my last year with the firm. If you know me, you will know I don't easily back out of a challenge!

It will not be easy for me, and it will hurt. The training already has (one torn meniscus). What will keep me going is knowing my pain is nothing compared to what the babies and families on the unit today are experiencing, so I am doing it for them.

Please do give generously, and feel free to come on the day and laugh and point at me as my face blends in to my bright pink vest!
