GOOD NEWS RESTARTED MONDAY 16/03/26 !!!!!!
This year as many other years I am taking out the whole of March to complete a challenge for to raise money for a worthy cause which I have been doing for about the last ten years and nearly always for Cancer Research.
This year I thought I would change charities and focus on those who do the great work focused around caring for people who have this terrible disease which based on our families personal experience is the ALL the fantastic people at the Bedfordshire Primrose Unit in particular those who selflessly give their time to transport patients to and from the Cambridge Addenbrookes Hospital, which greatly benefitted both mine and Heidi's mums during their respective treatments for cancer.
So with this great cause in mind its time for me to challenge myself, so this year I have decided to virtually climb Kilimanjaro, this does not mean I will be putting on my oxygen mask and hitting base camp (I wish), I will be getting to work on a rolling stair case at the local gym and any other staircase I can find. Only the up steps count descending stairs does not count towards total. As you all know stair climbing is a horrendous exercise and one I am far from looking forward to, but its March and this is what I do. So the challenge is 38,000 stairs ascended (count from Google) in 31 days to summit Kilimanjaro and complete the challenge.
Please support if you can with a donation as I have found in previous years the larger the fund raising pot the more motivation I get to keep pushing.
Had to postpone for a week due to back injury, but now back climbing stairs!!!
