Story
Sometimes in life, we cannot just be bystanders. I want to do my part to help alleviate the suffering of Ukrainian civilians and save innocent lives. Please join me and be a part of this. Together, we can make a difference.
The Russian Army has drone teams that specialise in hunting civilian ambulances. They have destroyed over 300 ambulances and heavily damaged another 300 in 4 years of war, killing hundreds of paramedics, nurses, and drivers.
In February 2025, I drove an ambulance in a convoy from London to Ukraine to donate it to the Ukrainian emergency services, replacing an ambulance destroyed by a Russian drone. I intend to do so again in March 2026 and I invite you to participate. If you give part of this ambulance, I will dedicate my time and risk to ensure that the ambulance gets delivered to where it is needed most.
- I will drive with other volunteers as part of a convoy of ambulances facilitated by Medical Life Lines Ukraine, a UK-based volunteer group, which has already delivered over 115 ambulances.
- I have been to Ukraine half dozen times in the past two years and am accustomed to the air raids; with ample warning and an excellent shelter system, the risk can be managed and minimised.
It costs £15,000 to buy a used NHS ambulance, refurbish it, and a bit more to outfit it with medical supplies. I will commit to match your contribution 100% pound for pound up to £3,000 and on top of that there's Gift Aid for UK taxpayers. (For US taxpayers, please go to the website of Ukraine Crisis Aid Group, a tax-exempt 501(c)3 charity: www.ukrainecrisisaid.org/ambulances )
Let’s do this together. Any amounts helps. Thank you.
Слава Україні!
