As I reach my 60th Birthday, there is only one gift I want, which is an end to Long Covid which has devastated my life, and the lives of millions of other people. There is a desperate need for more research. There has been progress in understanding causes including viral persistence, blood clots and damage to body's core systems, but as yet no new treatments have been developed.

Support for people with Long Covid is desperately lacking, and we are reduced to linking up with others in the same situation to find support. I have got to know many people in a very similar situation to myself, who have lost their health, their ability to work, to be a good parent and friend, or enjoy any leisure activity.

Long Covid Support has helped me personally, and is seeking to improve both support and research into Long Covid. Please give generously to improve the chances of people with Long Covid recovering, restoring some normality, and returning to an active role in our communities.
