Alan Welsh's 8 Hour Cycle Challenge - fundraising for Royal National Lifeboat Institution

Llandudno RNLI is raising money for RNLI - Royal National Lifeboat Institution

Alan Welsh's 8 Hour RNLI Cycle Challenge · 10 May 2026

Fundraising in North Wales in 2026

Story

RNLI Llandudno is proud to be supporting Alan Welsh, who is taking on an 8‑hour cycling challenge along Llandudno Promenade on Sunday 10 May 2026, from 8am to 4pm.

Alan will be cycling continuously between the Pier Gates and the Lifeboat Station, covering the promenade again and again for a full eight hours to raise vital funds for the RNLI. Please come along to cheer him on and show your support throughout the day.

The average lifeboat station across Wales, North West England and the Isle of Man costs around £155,000 a year to run. We are asking members of the community to donate whatever they can to help keep lifeboats operational and support lifesaving services along the North Wales coastline.

Every donation, big or small, helps save lives at sea.

Thank you for your support.
