A dedicated team from JLR STA Powertrain (plus 2) is embarking on the Five Peaks Challenge in memory of Steve Blackwell, aiming to summit the highest peaks in Scotland (Ben Nevis), England (Scafell Pike), Wales (Snowdon), Northern Ireland (Slieve Donard) and Republic of Ireland (Carrauntoohil) all within 48 hours.

This incredible effort supports Heart Heroes, a charity that helps children and families affected by lifelong heart conditions through inclusive projects, hospital support, mental health services and more.

Bulten Ltd, JLR’S fastener partner, is generously sponsoring the challenge by providing essential boil – in -the bag meals to keep the team energised.

Two Defender 110’s will carry the team across one thousand miles, with three walkers and a driver in each.

The team has already completed training hikes across Wyre Forest, Malvern Hills, Snowdon, Slieve Donard and Scafell Pike. – with the Welsh and Yorkshire Three Peaks next on the list
