Story
On Friday, 3rd October 2025, I am taking on the challenge of "Boycott your Bed London," sleeping out to help the children across the UK who go to bed every night feeling unsafe, cold, and hopeless.
I am raising vital funds for Action for Children. Currently, 4.5 million children live in poverty in the UK, which is a staggering 31% of all children. Tonight, many will go to bed hungry and struggle to sleep in cold, damp houses. They will start the next day without a warm coat or shoes that fit. This situation is relentless and I hate to imagine my baby boy having to deal with conditions like this.
But it doesn’t have to be like this. With every minute and every hour spent braving the elements (and the London rats which are huge by the way) we can help Action for Children provide warm clothes, hot meals, and proper beds for these children.
Please support me in raising vital funds so that more children can have a safe and happy childhood. Just £50 could pay for new shoes for two children; £65 could help even more children find safety and happiness.
Childhood is precious, and there isn’t long to get it right. Together, we can take action for children so they don't miss out on their right to a joyful upbringing.
