Hi everyone,

I’m taking part in my first marathon with my good friend Siobhan Watson who has trained every step of the way with me in memory of my mother-in-law, Brenda Dynes. Brenda fought an incredibly hard and courageous battle against Scleroderma and Raynaud’s for almost thirteen years.

In the last year of her life, things became especially difficult—something as simple as breathing, which most of us take for granted, became an immense challenge for her.

In Brenda’s memory, I’ve decided to push myself to take on this marathon—not only to honour and remember the wonderful mother, wife, granny, sister, aunt and friend that so many of us were lucky to know, but also to raise awareness and support for Team SRUK.
