Welcome to #TeamWarChild for the London Marathon 2026!

Last year I ran the London Marathon in support of the Meningitis Research Foundation, a cause very close to my heart, and this year I’m taking on the challenge again — this time running for War Child UK.

As a father with a young family, supporting charities that protect children means everything to me. Seeing so many terrible images on the TV of young children around the world suffering because of wars really hits home, and it makes me realise how lucky we are and how important it is to help where we can.

War Child UK is the only specialist charity supporting children affected by conflict. For over 30 years they have worked to reach children as early as possible when conflict breaks out, keeping them safe, helping them learn, recover from trauma, and giving them the skills they need for the future. They also campaign for children’s rights and deliver life-saving support across Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Europe and Latin America.

I’m running the London Marathon 2026 as part of an incredible team raising vital funds to help continue this work.
