Story
For the second year I will be taking on Challenge 27 for NW Hearts Charity. I am looking to raise £500 for them by partaking in things I dislike, all in the name of better Heart Health.
They really need to raise more awareness in the Greater Manchester area as we are one of the worst areas for heart problems.
My challenge will be to spend an hour every day on the stupid multi gym I have purchased especially for this as well as giving up one of my favourite things again, biscuits.
So please put a few quid in the (virtual) bucket and help me achieve my target.
NW Hearts Charity is a local charity, supporting people across Greater Manchester. They are passionate about redressing the inequalities and improving the lives of people who are living with, or at risk of, heart disease, and their families. They fund and support projects which change lives.
27% of deaths in the UK are caused by heart and circulatory disease*.
This figure is considerably higher in Greater Manchester, with people having a significantly reduced life expectancy due to poor heart health.
I'm going to ‘Take on 27’ days this National Heart Month and help raise funds to support the work NW Hearts Charity does of improving heart health outcomes for our local communities.
