Story
Help us Beat Blood Cancer
Maxine, Andy Watt and I are taking part in the Glasgow Walk to Beat Blood Cancer on Sunday 6th September 2026. We will be walking 10km around the picturesque Pollok Park. Every step we take will help support patients living with blood cancer and fund vital research to find better treatments and cures. As a blood cancer patient and Trustee of Blood Cancer UK, this is clearly something that matters to me. Andy and Maxine have done so much to support me and other blood cancer patients so doing it together is really special.
There are a mix of people taking part - those who have been treated for blood cancer, those who have lost someone to blood cancer, and those who want to stand in support of this important cause.
Since 1960, Blood Cancer UK has invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. Right now, the charity is funding 360 researchers and staff across the UK who are searching for the next breakthrough.
Please sponsor our walk and support our mission to beat blood cancer. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer.
Thank you for your support
