Story
We all know friends, work colleagues or family that sadly have been affected by blood cancer.
Recently I found out that a former work colleague of mine has, so I am dedicating my extra curricular time and effort this year to raise money for this wonderful charity.
I am taking part in two events:
1 - 13th May 2026
A triathlon in Eryri, (aka Snowdonia). A 7 hour walk in the Glydreau Massif followed by a 4 hour ride through the famous and technical trails of Gwydr Mawr, formerly known as the Marin Trail. Finishing off with a paddle around Llyn Padarn.
I will be doing this with some 30 other employees of Brunning and Price.
2 - 15th August 2026
Snowdon Skyline. A 38km route with over 3500m ascent over some of the gnarliest ridgelines in Eryri, taking in Snowdon, Y Lliwedd, Glyder Fawr, Y Gribbin, Tryfan and Crib Goch. An epic challenge.
I am up for the challenge and I hope that you will join me on the way.
If you can support me on this quest, that would be amazing.
Blood Cancer Charity:
We're a community dedicated to beating blood cancer. We do this by funding research and supporting those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. Right now, our community is funding 360 researchers and staff across the UK who are searching for the next breakthrough. The day we will beat blood cancer is now in sight and the researchers are determined to finish the job.
