When Covid struck 4 years ago, George Breckenridge got in touch with me about going for a 'walk'. I was still dealing with Brenda's passing and George was in the early stages of his fight with bowel cancer - it was therapy of sorts!

His brother Alan joined us a few weeks later and Rugby Ramblers was born - 3 grumpy old men who put the world to rights a few times a week - politics, rugby, manners, society = all sorted.

Today George rang the bell 🔔 Big 'C' beaten out the park!

To celebrate we're going to do the OffTheBeatsonTrack 10k walk on the 25th of August. Raising a bit of money is a sideshow - we're celebrating 🍾 a good guy beating another horrible disease and raising awareness.
