I've been a Trustee for Action4Youth for the last 12 months. It really is a wonderful organisation that aims to provide positive, transformational experiences and activities for young people of all abilities.

Each year, 25,000 young people benefit from the charity's many programmes, including their outstanding outdoor education centre - The Caldecotte Xperience (TCX).

TCX is now over 30 years old and requires significant investment to upgrade facilities, improve accessibility and provide year-round activities for all. We want to help empower young people to challenge themselves, have fun, and discover what they can do, not what they can’t.

So, Suzie and I have set ourselves the adventure of The Wadi Rum 100km Trek in Jordan from the 24th February – 2nd March 2024. We will be walking a challenging 100km route across the Jordan desert over 5 days, trekking 15-25km per day in the majestic Wadi Rum.
