JMECA is a UK Charity which seeks to show God’s love by supporting the charitable work of the Episcopal Provinces in the Middle East; the Province of Jerusalem and the Middle East, and the Province of Alexandria. We provide financial support for the churches, clergy and the social ministries the dioceses run for the local communities. Through our website and magazine we aim to inform people of the context of their work and encourage prayerful support.

Story

Dear all

On 28 September I'll be running the Windsor Half Marathon in support of All Saints' Church, Blackheath's chosen charity for 2025-26: The Jerusalem and the Middle East Church Association. This is a UK-based charity that supports the Anglican Church's work in the Middle East, particularly the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza. The hospital has been badly damaged several times during the current conflict. All Saints' Church is not 'taking sides' in this tragic conflict - but taking a purely humanitarian stance.

Many thanks for any contributions, no matter the amount.
