On Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th June, I'll be joining a group of Softcat South Coast Office staff for a 110km (~30 hour) trek around the Isle of Wight in support of the Gurkha Welfare Trust.

As a group, we'll start the epic walk at 8am on Saturday, walking through the day and night and hoping to finish by mid-afternoon on the Sunday. We'll take on this brutal walk, around the island's coastline, tackling coasts, cliffs, rain/heat, tiredness and blisters along the way. It'll be a physical and mental challenge for us all individually and as a group!

We take on this challenge in support of the Gurkha Welfare Trust and our staff veterans network group. The Gurkha Welfare Trust (GWT) ensures that Gurkha veterans, their widows and their wider communities are able to live with dignity in Nepal, through the provision of financial, medical and community aid.
