Albany Road Run Club - fundraising for Maggies Cardiff

David Sinclair is raising money for Maggie's Centres
Maggie's Cardiff needs your support now more than ever. We are here supporting people with cancer and their families who are worried and anxious that their treatment plan might be changed and wondering what coronavirus means for them.

Story

This year, Albany Road Run Club is raising vital funds for Maggies Cardiff, our official charity for 2025.

Our members are taking part in events throughout the year to raise funds - events like Cardiff Half Marathon in October and our flagship club event Loopathon 2025 on August 17th.

At Loopathon we’ll also be welcoming other runners from Cardiff and further afield who by taking part will also be helping us support Maggies 😍

Please consider supporting our members as they put in the training and miles to support this awesome organisation. Some of our members have firsthand experience of the vital work they do and Maggies Cardiff is very close to their hearts.

From Maggies:

Maggies Cardiff needs your support now more than ever.

They're here supporting people with cancer and their families across South East Wales who are worried and anxious that their treatment plan might be changed and wondering what coronavirus means for them.

The centre is open and they also have one to one phone, skype, email and facetime support. Their online community, run by psychologists, cancer support specialists and benefits advisors, can also help with daily blogs on how to cope with self isolation or treatment changes. You can join their online kitchen table with others who are going through the same thing offering support.

Everything they do depends on the kindness of our donors.

They will always be there for people with cancer but need you alongside them. Please do whatever you can to help by supporting them today.
