My name is Albert Ruddick and I am 15 years old. I started playing volleyball just over two years ago. I am a member of Richmond Volleyball club and have been playing beach and indoor volleyball for my club for the last two years. In that short time i have reached two U15 National Championship finals and come 4th at the National Championship U17 beach tournament.

I have recently been selected by Volleyball England to be part of their Talent Pathway for Beach and Indoor Volleyball. I am hoping to be selected for upcoming events including international competitions like Home Nations beach and NEVZA indoor tournament in October. The next tournament is in Denmark!

I am trying to raise money to help me get there as unlike other sports at this level, there is no financial support available and training and international competitions cost a lot of money.

It is my biggest aspiration to represent my country in the upcoming months and years and raising some money would be extremely beneficial to the future of my volleyball career.

I understand that times are tough, so any donations, no matter how small, would massively help me with my volleyball dream!

I just wanted to thank everyone who donated to my page. Last year I was selected to play for England in the Home Nations tournament. This was my England debut and your donations helped to fund this tournament.

This Easter I have been selected to play for London in Italy’s Cornacchia World Cup. The money left will also go towards helping to pay for this so thank you so much to everyone.
