DKMS are a great charity that carry out vital work in the fight against blood cancer and blood disorders. By recruiting blood stem cell donors they provide second chances at life for those in need of a transplant, and raise funds to cover donor registration costs. They are the biggest stem cell register in the UK and have registered over 1 million blood stem cell donors to date and helped to give over 2,100 people a second chance at life.

Having joined the register i was fortunate enough to experience the valuable work that DKMS do personally in 2018 when i was matched to a patient and subsequently donated stem cells.
