Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Hi, I’m Albie, I’m 7 years old, and on 4th July 2026 I’ll be walking around 5.5 miles from my home in Thornhill to West Cumberland Hospital, with my Dad, to raise money for Blood Bikes Cumbria.

I am autistic and I also have hypermobility syndrome which causes me pain when I exert myself, so it won’t be an easy challenge for me to walk this distance, but I really want to help an amazing local charity, who I have been lucky enough to meet at my school, as this is our class charity.

Blood Bikes Cumbria is run entirely by volunteers who provide a free, out-of-hours service delivering blood, samples and other urgent medical supplies to hospitals, helping the NHS and supporting patient care when every minute counts. Every donation, big or small, will help keep this incredible service on the road. Thank you so much for supporting me!
