The four of us have a lot of time over the summer now that college has finished for the year so we wanted to use some of that time to fundraise for a good cause. We are extremely fortunate to be where we are in our lives and we want to try to the best of our abilities to do something that will contribute to those who arent as lucky as us receiving aid, education and healthcare. The second Darfur genocide in Sudan is still ongoing and we hope any money we are able to raise will contribute to the efforts of Roots Sudan in providing the development of education and healthcare infrastructure in the country, providing safe environments and medicine to anyone who may need them amidst the persecution and violence in Sudan.
