Marathon · 28 June 2025

In later life older people may find themselves lonely or isolated, particularly if struggling with poor health or mobility and bereavement. We provide a range of vital services to include information and advice, practical support and opportunities to socialise. We support independence and provide help to enable people to remain living safely in their own home. Our mission is to promote the well-being of all older people and to help make later life a fulfilling and enjoyable experience. Your donation will help us to provide direct help to improve the quality of later life. Story

Join us on an incredible journey as the Alchemab running team prepares to take on the challenge of a full marathon on June 28, 2025. We are not just running for ourselves; we are running for a cause that touches the hearts of many in our community.

Age UK Cambridgeshire and Peterborough is dedicated to supporting older individuals, ensuring they have the resources and companionship they need to thrive. Every step we take in this marathon represents our commitment to advocating for those who may feel isolated or overlooked. We believe that everyone deserves dignity and support, especially our elders who have given so much to society.

We invite you to be a part of this meaningful mission by contributing towards our fundraising goal of £250. Your generous donations will directly impact the lives of older people in our region, providing them with essential services and companionship. Together, we can make a difference—one mile at a time. Thank you for your support!
