I'm raising money in memory of my grandfathers, who passed away recently from Alzheimer's disease, and to further Alzheimer's research for future generations.

I am running 3 marathons this year in Henry and Buford's honor. I have already completed my first one in Milbrook, NY. I will be running the San Francisco marathon in July, and then finish with the New York marathon in November. My goal is to improve my time with each one.

Both men were humble, witty chaps who were incredibly accomplished and will forever be an inspiration to me. They put a smile on everyone's face, and had the unique ability to become friends with just about anyone.

I watched my parents and grandmothers face the reality of the disease's impact on my grandfathers, and hope to help prevent that kind of experience for others in the future.
