This year we decided to do something else! 5 brave Hana Runners: Oliver, Joanna, Kach, Marlon and Aleks will run a Loch Ness Marathon on September 28th for this amazing charity!

The Fishermen’s Mission is the national fishermen’s charity that fights poverty and despair in the UK’s fishing communities by providing emergency and welfare support to fishermen and their families. More than 13,000 people work in fishing: the UK’s toughest and most dangerous peacetime occupation, with an average of 15 killed or seriously injured every year. For the 50,000 retired fishermen and their families, the fishing may have ended but the hardship continues as they face debt, scant savings, loneliness and isolation. The Fishermen’s Mission provides emergency response 24/7, 365 days a year.
