Story

I’m Running the London Marathon 2026!

And I want to #TALKBOLLOKS !

On April 26, 2026, I’ll be running the London Marathon in support of a cause that means a lot to me: The Robin Cancer Trust, a charity dedicated to raising awareness and support for men affected by testicular cancer.

So why this charity?

Because we need to talk more about bollocks.

Last year, I’d just got married, had the best time of my life… and then everything stopped.

My best friend — my best man — was diagnosed with testicular cancer. Out of nowhere.

A 38-year-old, fit, strong, healthy man with a young family.

Thankfully, it was caught early and operated on immediately. But the cancer had already spread, and on Christmas Eve, he was told he’d need to go through chemotherapy.

It was a punch in the gut. But he fought. We all did — even across borders (he lives in Italy, I’m in the UK).

He fought harder than anyone. And in June, he was declared cancer free.

But it changed everything.

None of us thought this could happen — not to him, not like that.

Now I know better. And I want everyone to know better too.

This is about awareness. About having the conversations we avoid. About catching it early. About looking after ourselves, and each other.

So as I train and run 26.2 miles, I’m asking for your help — not just to support this amazing charity, but to make some real noise about something that affects thousands of men every year.

Donate if you can. Share if you will. And let’s make talking about testicles totally normal.

Let’s run for a world where no one faces cancer in silence.

Let’s run for bollocks!

Much love,

Ale
