Running Challenges

We are a small local charity raising funds to provide important support to children with various learning, social, physical and communication disabilities within Mid Sussex. Woodlands Meed's aim is to help each child find their place and confidence within school, the wider community and beyond.

Story

We are thrilled to be fundraising for the 'Friends of Woodlands Meed' through our Running Challenge events. Alex is taking on his first running challenge and Andy will be taking on the South Downs Way 100 in June.

Unfortunately Alex suffered an injury that meant he could not take part in the Brighton Half Marathon as planned, he is rehabbing well and will be taking on the Great South Run in October.

Our goal is to raise £1,500 to provide Woodlands Meed students with some reading pens, specialised tools that can truly transform their learning experience. These pens are invaluable for students with dyslexia, enabling them to read and so more fully comprehend text, even during exams. Your support will make a meaningful difference in these students' lives. By donating through JustGiving, you can ensure a simple, secure, and efficient contribution that goes directly to the charity. Join us in making a lasting impact on these students' educational journey.
