In October I’ll be running / ambling the Royal Parks half marathon in London for Dementia UK along with my brother Nick, step-mum Deb and step-sister Emma. Yes, it’s only a half but we’ll be in pain so please give generously 😊

Two years ago, my Dad was diagnosed with dementia at just 61. Since then it's had a profound impact on his and Debs' lives, and we've seen first-hand the importance of the right support and guidance.

Dementia UK provide specialist nurses who support people living with dementia and their loved ones. There are nearly a million people in the UK living with dementia (over 70,000 of whom have young onset dementia where symptoms develop before age 65) but Dementia UK currently only have around 400 nurses so need continued funding.
