Story
After over a decade of applying for the ballot, I'm excited to announce I'll be running the 2026 London Marathon. This incredible opportunity comes with an even more meaningful purpose, raising funds for Ella's, a London-based charity supporting women who have survived trafficking and exploitation.
Ella's provides life-changing support to survivors, offering everything from urgent safe house accommodation to long-term rehabilitation services. The charity's holistic approach addresses the complex, interconnected challenges these women face from mental health and addiction support to legal assistance, skills training, employment opportunities, and help finding permanent homes. Having a safe place to live is fundamental to rebuilding a life, and Ella's makes this possible while providing the wraparound care each woman needs to stay free and build a sustainable future.
I first learned about Ella's through my fiancée, Rosie, and her colleagues at Caplor Horizons who have collaborated with the charity on multiple projects over the past decade. Rosie now serves as Chair of Ella's Survivors Board which provides invaluable guidance to the charity's leadership team.
Every donation, no matter the size, will make a huge impact. Ella's is a small charity where your contribution directly transforms lives.
