We've been providing tailored and holistic care to those in need in the Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset area for over 40 years. At your home or ours, we provide care without prejudice, regardless of condition, religion, beliefs or age - and always with your best interests at heart.

Story

Join us in supporting the Big RAC Bike Ride from Stratford to Bristol.

On Friday 12th September, over 8 colleagues from the RAC will be cycling from the Salford office (Manchester), to the Birmingham office, and then finally finishing at their Bristol Head Office.

They will be covering 200 miles over two days! 🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️ All proceeds will go to St Peter's Hospice, a local charity providing exceptional care and support to adults with life-limiting illnesses in Bristol and surrounding areas.

St Peter's Hospice has been dedicated to improving the quality of life for patients and their families for over 40 years. They offer comprehensive care, including physical, psychological, social, and spiritual support, ensuring patients can make the most of every moment. Their services include home care, inpatient care, and emotional support, tailored to each individual's needs.

This event is a tough mental and physical challenge that requires significant training and preparation. Our team of cycling colleagues from across the RAC is committed to getting fitter and pushing their limits to complete this ride. Covering 100 miles each day at a minimum speed of 13 mph is no easy feat, and it will test our endurance, determination, and teamwork. We are training hard to ensure we can achieve this goal and support each other along the way.

Your donations will help St Peter's Hospice continue their incredible work, providing care and support to those in need. Every contribution counts and motivates us to complete this challenging ride.

Here’s how your donation can make a difference:

£36 could help pay for a physiotherapy assessment to maximize a patient's functional ability and quality of life.

£60 could fund four weeks of complementary therapy sessions to enable relaxation and increase a sense of wellbeing.

£120 could help pay for art supplies for a Brushstrokes six-week course.

Thank you for your support and generosity. Together, we can make a significant impact and help St Peter's Hospice continue their mission of providing compassionate care.
