Story
I am attempting to run the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge (Pen-y-ghent (694m), Whernside (736m), and Ingleborough (723m) on Friday 29th August in under 5 hours, as part of my new companies fundraising attempts for Alzheimer's Society.
I have been training for 5 months getting up at 5am 3 mornings a week to get my runs in before work so I can achieve this.
Why Alzheimer's Society?
Alzheimer’s Society are the UK’s leading dementia charity, who tackle all aspects of dementia by giving help and hope to people living with dementia today and in the future.
Dementia is the UK’s biggest health and social care crisis with over 1.4 million people expected to be living with dementia by 2040.
