Story

Hi everyone,

I’m excited (and a little nervous!) to share that I’ll be running the Budapest Marathon in October 2025. I'm not just doing it for a personal challenge, I'm hoping to raise money for a meaningful cause — Hft.

Hft is a charity dedicated to supporting people with learning disabilities to live with greater independence, choice and control. Their work is all about empowering individuals to live the lives they want, from finding meaningful employment to enjoying a full social life. Hft's vision is a world where everyone with a learning disability has the opportunity to live the best life possible, and their long-term strategy is centred on making this a reality for more people across the UK.

The money we raise together will help Hft continue their incredible work—whether it’s providing tailored care, helping someone gain new skills, or ensuring individuals have a voice in decisions that affect them.

I’m reaching out to ask for your support. No matter how big or small, your donation will make a difference. Together, we can help create a future where everyone, regardless of their abilities, has the chance to thrive.

Thank you for being part of this journey with me. Let’s make every mile count for Hft!

With gratitude,

Alex
