A few years ago my partner and his friend ended up stuck on the face of Ben Nevis and needed the Lochaber Mountain Rescue team to get them down to safety. Without this charity they would have been stuck there and might not of even made it down. Their work is incredible and so selfless.

We are helping Lochaber MRT to replace their essential communciations vehicle / ambulance.

They use the mobile control van comes, with satellite communication options to speak to other agencies, such as the Coastguard, and our base when operating in remote areas.

It also doubles as an ambulance providing a resource for transporting injured people safely to either meet our colleagues from the Scottish Ambulance Service at the public road, or transporting them directly to hospital in some scenarios.

It will cost £120,000 to replace and we want to do our best to help them.
